I am a Muslim woman. Through a combination of creative writing, political analysis and a podcast I will explore structures and processes of discrimination. I will base my analysis on my own experiences of attempting to navigate the education system.
My Journey
As a Muslim woman navigating the UK education system, I have experienced firsthand the subtle and not-so-subtle structures of discrimination that shape our society. Through my personal journey, I have witnessed how systemic biases manifest in educational institutions, affecting not just academic outcomes but also personal development and self-perception.
This platform emerged from my need to document and analyze these experiences through multiple lenses. Creative writing allows me to explore the emotional and psychological impact of discrimination, while political analysis helps me understand the broader structural forces at play.
